Itinerary

Met on arrival from your international flight at the JKIA airport by one of our representatives to your luxury City hotel of choice from our partner hotels. Subject to flight arrival, day spent at leisure with options of excursions as selected.

Lunch is on own account, you will be picked and transferred to the famous Carnivore Restaurant along Langata Road known as the ‘beast of a feast’ a meat lovers’ den indeed. Return to your hotel for overnight in preparation for your adventure tomorrow.

After breakfast, assisted to check out by our driver guide and drive approx. 153kms on a tarmac road all the way to Nyeri and Naro Moru on the eastern side using the Naivasha/Nyahururu road through beautiful slopes and a quick stop at the Thomson falls. Arrive at the Aberdare Country Club, only a two-and-a-half-hour drive northeast from Nairobi, nestled on a slope of Mweiga Hill in the Aberdare Highlands.

Arrive in time for lunch at the Aberdares Country Club before proceeding to the Ark where you will have dinner and overnight, the lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife.

Afternoon game viewing drive in the Aberdare National Park includes Lions, Leopards, African Elephants, African Hunting Dogs, Giant Forest Hogs, Bushbucks, Mountain Reedbucks, Waterbucks, Cape Buffalos, Side-striped Jackals, Eland Antelopes, Duikers, Olive Baboons, Black and White Colobus Monkeys and Sykes Monkeys).

You have the option of a full day game drive or a morning and afternoon game drive at the Aberdares National Park.

An early morning game viewing drive within the park returning for breakfast, check out and have a morning game drive with packed lunch enroute to Saruni Camp in Kalama Conservancy approx. 3 hr. 44 min (153.7 km/95.5mi). Check-in and have a siesta before your late afternoon game viewing drive in the conservancy.

This conservancy is large, privately-owned reserve bordering with Samburu National Reserve with the Lodge is just a 20-minute drive away from the Samburu National Reserve which is known for its many Elephants. Morning and afternoon game viewing drives including a night game drive with the aid of a spotlight on the Kalama Conservancy and see the stripped Hyena, Leopard, and birds like the owl.

Activities for two days in the conservancy include guided nature walk, visit of a Samburu village, spa treatment at the camp to mention a few. See the northern famous five Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's Zebra, Gerenuk and Somali ostrich all endemic to Samburu ecosystem and the three big cats, Lion, Leopard and Cheetah.

After breakfast, check-out depart for Lake Naivasha approx. 2hr25min drive (119.6km/74.3mi) to Chui Lodge set in a private 18,000-acre wildlife conservancy Chui Lodge is a veritable oasis in the dry escarpment country of the Rift Valley. The sanctuary is nestled in an indigenous candelabra forest overlooking Mau escarpment, Naivasha’s best kept secret lies Chui Lodge.

Built from simple bush stone, Acacia, Olive & Leleshwa wood sustainably sourced from within the sanctuary. Erect in the mid-1990s with the sole purpose of giving the resident wildlife a place of safety and refuge. With over 30 mammal species, including leopard, Masai Giraffe, the endangered Grevy’s zebra, Cape buffalo, Aardvark, Serval cat, Somali Ostrich and Lesser Galago.

Naivasha is the main stop of many migratory birds all year round with over 400 species indeed a bird’s paradise, commonly sightings are Klass’s Cuckoo, Tacazze Sunbird, Long-crested Eagle, Coqui Francolin, Black Egret and Malachite Kingfisher. Activities include day & night game drives, trips to Hell’s gate, Day trip to Nakuru National Park, Horseback riding safari, Visit the flower farm at Oserian, Hiking & Longonot climb and many more.

You have the option of a full day game drive or a morning and afternoon game drive at the Oserengoni Wildlife Conservancy.

Early morning game viewing drive in the conservancy, return for breakfast and check-out. The drive south west takes you to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve through Sekanani gate approx. 3 hr. 42min (165.7km/102.96mi).

Home to the ‘Big Five ‘namely lion, leopard, African elephant, African buffalo and black rhino, also found are cheetahs, Jackals, Hyenas, along the Mara and Talek rivers Hippos and Nile Crocodiles in large number.

Famed for its open plains are diverse wildlife and the Great Migration, a remarkable wildlife phenomenon of wildebeest in their millions, Thomson’s gazelle, Topi, Elands and Zebra’s in the hundreds of thousands. The antelopes here include Impalas, Duikers and Coke’s Hartebeests and many more. Staying in the conservancy gives you options not available in the main park.

Spend the two nights day and night game viewing drives, guided walking safaris, fly and bush camping, experience the Maasai culture by visiting a village learning about the culture, sundowners, bush meals and photographic safaris. Dinner and overnight at Naboisho Camp or similar.

After breakfast depart for and early morning game drive in the park or conservancy, returning for breakfast. Check-out with a game drive enroute existing the Mara, on you way to Nairobi via Narok.
You will be in Nairobi for late lunch, day room at the airport hotel. Our representative will be at the airport to see you off and to wish you a safe outbound flight home.

For those on photographic safari, there is need for this as a private vehicle will be required at extra charge.
Hot Air Balloon safari both in Samburu & Maasai Mara, requires an advance booking and additional charge.
Fly camping requires advance booking and at an additional charge.
