Overview

This opulent Lodge in Rwanda is one of Africa’s cherished lodges. Set on a ridge with panoramic views of the Virunga Volcanoes, the Musanze valley to the West, Lake Bulera and Ruhondo to the East. Built by Praveen Moman in 2004 and has been further refined to meet the needs of today’s luxury traveller in 2020. Each of the ten elegant bandas (Two deluxe and eight standard) named after the Rwandan lakes enjoy a private terrace, from which guests can watch the sunrise over the dramatic landscape. The two deluxe bandas – named after the lakes Ibirunga and Ibiyaga, have own private sitting room, refined interiors, with a large terrace overlooking the majestic Virunga Volcanoes or the Twin Lakes.
