Overview

Set in Singita Grumeti, which forms part of the Serengeti Mara ecosystem, this Camp allows guests access to a 350,000-acre concession on the renowned migratory route traversed annually by more than a million wildebeest. Singita Explore is closed from 15 March – 15 May annually. 

Features a complete escape from modern-day distractions, and the thrill of camping in the most coveted wilderness settings, without forfeiting any of the comforts & intuitive service inherent to the Singita guest experience. 

Set up based on the requirements of each individual booking, Explore offers up to six 1-bedroom custom-designed tents configured to suit the group. Functional luxury touches and campaign-style furniture, durable canvas, leather, and chrome elements feature throughout.

Designed for private use, this quintessential wilderness experience includes dining under the stars, sleeping under canvas, cooling off in the camp’s inviting plunge pool, and a level of closeness to nature that heightens the sights, sounds and smells of the bush.

Accommodation

This is an exclusive-use camp, pitched and set up based on the requirements of each booking of up to six tents that can accommodate 12 people. Each tent has a bathroom with a bucket shower, a tea /coffee station, and a sitting area in front of the tent. Balcony / Deck, Dressing Gowns, En-Suite with shower, Outside Shower, Pure Cotton Linen, Tea / Coffee, Room Service, Room Service (24 hours).

Accommodation includes: All meals and beverages (including premium wines, spirits, and liqueurs, but excluding French Champagne), Private Guide, camp host, chef, and camp staff, Private game drives in open game-viewing vehicles (one vehicle for up to 6 guests; 2 vehicles for 7-12 guests), Return road transfers between the Sasakwa airstrip and the camp, Limited laundry service (expect a 24-hour turnaround), Wi-Fi access where applicable

This is suitable for charging electronic devices. Children of all ages are welcome as this is an exclusive-use experience and activities are tailored to suit each family. In the interest of safety, children’s participation in-game activities are at the discretion of your guide.
