Overview

Amidst Ugandan hospitality, in unrivaled nature, with scenery and serenity in the heart of Kibale Rain Forest National Park. This is Uganda’s primates’ paradise and home to over 13 different primates, numerous mammals, butterflies, and birds. 

Primate Lodge Kibale’s principal edge is the location of the lodge, deep in the forest, next door to the starting point for the Chimpanzee Tracking excursion as well as the incredible Chimpanzee Habituation, the two breathtaking wildlife experiences on the planet. All ages are welcome except a minimum age of 15 years is required for chimp tracking). 

With nine spacious, en-suite luxury cottages, each secluded in the deep forest for maximum privacy, and to enhance the natural feel, featuring 2 double size beds or 1 king-size bed, a sitting area, two comfortable armchairs, a reading table, and an adjoining large veranda with excellent views of the forest.

Seven mid-level Forest Cottages, private with an en-suite with spacious bathrooms, 2 Twin size Beds or 1 king-size Bed, and a spacious veranda overlooking the rainforest with lounge chairs.  A popular double-storied ‘Elephant Banda’ has an upstairs bedroom fitted with a giant King size Bed and a downstairs living room that can fit a smaller extra bed as double occupancy. 

This Banda is very popular with honeymooners, anniversaries, and the ‘hopeless romantics’ who can also enjoy private lounging and dining at the extensive upstairs veranda. The other lodge amenities include a spacious dining terrace, a well-stocked bar, complimentary room service, a secluded lounge area with a small library, an evening campfire, laundry service (at a small fee) as well as free Wi-Fi in the public areas.
