Overview
Approximately 5 hours drive, north towards Gulu, just outside the boundary of Murchison Falls National Park on the South Bank of the River Nile. A wholly-owned family eco-friendly lodge, started in 2017, with a long-term dream of offering a unique experience in the Pearl of Africa.
Aimed at sharing the beauty of the region they grew up in, and hold dear to their hearts, their purpose and drive is to offer experiences and memories that enable their guests to “Escape the ordinary”… not forgetting those physically challenged and in wheelchairs.
The breathtaking views are seen from every corner of the lodge, which offers eight secluded opulent bandas, in ultimate privacy and comfort. Each Banda has a thatched roof, spacious sitting area, day bed, mosquito net, en-suite facilities with indoor and outdoor showers, and a private viewing deck with a swing, desk, and chair in the room, all with excellent vantage points to some of the world’s more spectacular scenery.

The Family Villa – perfect for four adults and four children, two- master bedrooms with four single beds and two king-size beds, shared living space, an outdoor viewing terrace, a private swimming pool, a spacious living room, and a private terrace that can be an optional venue for lunch and a private swimming pool with a stunning view of the shoebill peninsula.

his boutique lodge is located on 25 acres of farm in the calm outskirts of the agricultural town of Karatu. It is a sensitively eco-friendly luxury lodge that in order to harmonize with the environment, has been very unobtrusively designed and positioned within the farm.

Accommodation
A Total of 32 Rooms in 16 well-spaced cottages, with each Cottage having two Rooms, a comfortable lounge, en-suite bedrooms, all with a mini bar, coffee-making facility, air-conditioning, satellite television, Wi-Fi, a private balcony with sweeping views of the farm, the surrounding scenic landscape, and the most amazing sunsets. Tastefully decorated in a classic style with ceramic floors and furniture throughout, with a signature Acacia hospitality.
