Overview

Mahali Mzuri is Sir Richard Branson’s 12-tented luxury safari camp in the Kenyan Bush. Here you’ll have a front row seat, not just to the migration, but also to the abundant game you can see all year round. The camp is situated in the private Olare Motorogi Conservancy which covers an area of 13,500 hectares in the wider Maasai Mara ecosystem.
There are six tents on either side of the Main Tent, each accessible by a walkway, the furthest of which is approximately a five minute walk from the Main Tent. Ten of the suites can be configured with either king or twin beds and two of the suites are four poster king size beds designed to accommodate up to two additional children on sofa beds in the living room. We can cater for a maximum of 24 guests in the camp at any one time. Children must be two years old to visit Mahali Mzuri and over six years old to accompany their parents on game drive.
All meals and drinks including alcohol and our finest champagne are included in your stay and guests are welcome to help themselves to whatever they want at any time.

Accommodation
Six tents (106 sqm) including the external decks on either side of the Main Tent, each accessible by a shared walkway, the furthest of which is approximately a 5 minute walk from the Main Tent. Ten of the 12 tents are designed to sleep two adults and all can be split into twin beds. The remaining two tents are configured so that the sitting area is enclosed with fold-out sofa beds accommodating up to two additional guests – ideal for families.
All tents have a large outdoor terraces, bathrooms feature roll top baths and separate showers and twin vanity units. Children must be 6 years of age and above to stay at Mahali Mzuri and must be at least 6 years old to participate in the daily game drives and accompanied by their parents.
All rooms have with Balcony / Deck, ensuite bath and shower, a hairdryer, sunscreen, insect repellent, mosquito nets, Fan, torches, extra blankets, Dressing Gowns, ponchos, bathrobes, slippers, Pure cotton linen, safe, Complimentary Wi-Fi, Laundry Service (Complimentary), Electrical Outlets, a complimentary mini-bar, snacks, tea and coffee making facilities and hot water bottles, Lounge Area, Verandah, Power sockets here use the British standard 3-pin arrangement so guests visiting from other parts of the world will need an adaptor which we will provide in your room. Current in Kenya is 240 volts.

Breakfast is continental buffet, served with hot dishes available à la carte, and guests typically share tables – it’s a great time to chat with your fellow travellers about the wildlife you saw earlier that morning.
Lunch is normally served on the main deck with individual tables and guests can order from the à la carte menu.
Dinner could be around a large communal table, out in the bush or somewhere private just for two!
