Overview
Loldia House sits in a conservancy of 6,500 acres that stretches from the shores of Lake Naivasha back to the edges of the lush and beautiful Eburru Forest. Set in flower filled gardens and soft lawns, the greenery surrounding The House is grazed daily and nightly by the conservancy’s resident wildlife – hippos, impala, waterbuck, giraffe and warthog.
An original Kenyan home set on an old farm on the shores of Lake Naivasha where guests’ can enjoy a gentle pace of life; relax by the pool, enjoy the views. Loldia House offers a choice of accommodation either in the old family house or in cottages in the grounds.
The main house, has en-suite double room. The three other guest cottages (housing two separate rooms, all en-suite), in the pretty gardens, offering incredible views across the lake to the extinct volcano – Mount Longonot.
On the hill is the specially built Top Cottage with three double bedrooms and its own sitting room with an open log fire, making it ideal for families or close friends travelling together. Children of all ages are welcome
Dining room, sitting room and comfortable verandah with views over Lake Naivasha and Mount Longonot, there is a Souvenir shop in the main house and an infinity swimming pool set on an outcrop between two age old fig trees with stunning views across the lake. A little spa room offers a variety of treatments.
Uniqueness of this House
The lovely range of ‘Cinnabar Green’ toiletries provided in the rooms (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap and body lotion). These products are refilled into reusable metal canisters so as to reduce on plastic waste. They are also handmade in Kenya with natural ingredients and are therefore in keeping with the sensitive environment in which we operate.
The House urge you to please use their products rather than your own. These toiletries are supplied for the duration of your stay with us, and if you would like to buy some to take onwards with you, they are sold at the gift shop.
