Across the globe authors and filmmakers have come to document the Annual Migration of millions of wildebeest, accompanied by large numbers of zebra, Grant’s gazelle, Thompson’s gazelle, elands, and impalas across the greater Masai Mara-Serengeti ecosystem.
There is only one way to understand and experience the true magnificence of this natural phenomenon that is to be part of it. Serengeti Migration Camp is the embodiment of the ‘camp’ experience. Located next to the famous Grumeti River which is home to resident hippos that bark and wallow their days away, this Camp has become synonymous with low-impact high-action game viewing in a landscape that is untouched since the dawn of time.
Hidden among the rocky outcrops the camp is located at the starting point of the Migration.
Comprising 20 luxurious elevated tents, each spacious and richly furnished bedroom blends seamlessly into the environment. Each tent is surrounded by its own 360-degree verandah deck, which in turn creates your very own private sanctuary to enjoy the constant game sightings and the ever-present sounds of the bush.

Accommodation
Migration Camp Tents are designed with the guest’s comfort in mind, en-suite shower with a flushing toilet, and a twin vanity basin, the latter of which receives hot (solar generated) and cold running water 24 hours. With luxuriant soft furnishings, a writing desk, stationery set, and a room fan. The tents have a wooden floor, fixed bathroom walls, and fixed wooden doors but all combine with the all-enveloping canvas.
