Escarpment Luxury Lodge is well integrated within the African Bush, according to the dramatic setting of the Great Rift Valley which extends through central Tanzania from the Kenyan border in the region of Lakes Eyasi, Manyara, and Natron south to Lake Nyasa at the border with Mozambique. Northern Tanzania is world-renowned for its luxury safari experiences, with an opportunity of seeing the BIG 5 in their natural environment.

The Lodge is a 10-minute drive from the Manyara Airstrip, with scheduled and charter flights from the three main airports in Tanzania. The Main Lodge sits on a surrounded spreading deck with views of the lake and gorge.
Escarpment Luxury Lodge is ideally located, Lake Manyara National Park is 5kms from the Lodge, whilst Ngorongoro Crater is 25kms – this is the largest inactive intact volcanic caldera in the whole world and Tarangire National Park is 120kms as such a minimum 2 nights is imminent.
With 16 luxurious appointed, private chalets featuring single, double, and triple occupancy. Each chalet has its own private deck to take in the magnificent sight of Lake Manyara, and wildlife passing through the lodge grounds and abundant bird life fills the trees and bushes growing directly around the decks of each chalet. Children of all ages are welcome to stay at the Escarpment lodge and extra beds however are provided to guests depending on the room chosen.

The 16 luxurious private chalets are in single, double, and triple occupancy. Each chalet has its own private deck with a direct view of the 7
th largest Lake in Tanzania – Lake Manyara or the forest. The Spacious chalets (64m2) reflect the feel of local craftsmanship with hardwood floors, beautifully handcrafted artifacts, fine antiques, and leather buttoned sofas.
