A private home, rich in game and malaria free area. Arijiju lies low on the 97,000 acres, dedicated to conservation. The Family who built Arijiju camped on this spectacular hillside to experience where the sun threw light shaft and a home that worked well with nature.
Her architecture borrows from the Swahili vernacular, inspired by the rock-hewn Churches of Ethiopia and uses the Kenyan tradition of grouped rooms that can house multi-generations. Use of local store, local timber and solar power, hand cut Meru stone, immense wooden Lamu style doors.

The Batian- Master Suite (1,298sqft) King size bed with feather pillows, soft throws, ensuite bathroom deep cooper bathtub with shower and an outdoor showers facing Mount Kenya, open fire place, leather desk, huge lush towels, hot water bottles, tea/coffee making facilities.
The Nelion Room (860sqft) named after Nelion, the brother of Mbatian, a legendary Maasai medicine man,
The Lenana Room (860sqft) named after the son of Mbatian and heir to his legacy and chiefdom.
The Ngare Ndare Suite (1,273sqft) & The Mukogodo Suite (1,273sqft) has fire place, 4 poster king size bed and lounge area, the sofa can be used as bed for extra child.
