Location: Laikipia Plateau, Laikipia County, Kenya.
Enasoit Camp is a luxury private tented camp nestled in the foothills of Mount Kenya, with over 4000 acres within the Enasoit Game Sanctuary on the Laikipia Plateau, Central Kenya, pure wilderness to explore and experience exclusively. A rich and diverse natural treasure, hosting some of Africa’s most extraordinary and endangered wildlife and vast, pristine wilderness areas.
Situated around the waterhole, which attracts a busy array of wildlife, easily visible from the tents’ verandah. The Camp has 8 rooms: – 6 tented cottages and 1 family tent with 2 interconnecting rooms. The tents are carefully constructed using canvas and local materials, combining the romance of living ‘under canvas’ with the comfort of a permanent structure.
Life in camp revolves around the open-sided Mess Tent, which overlooks the waterhole. By day, the Mess Tent offers a comfortable shaded spot from which to enjoy the wildlife and views across the plain. At night, a campfire is lit in front of the Mess Tent for pre-dinner drinks and sightings of Enasoit’ s nocturnal wildlife.
Guests can explore the reserve on horseback, on foot or by vehicle always accompanied by one of the Camp’s experienced guides, or you can simply watch the wildlife wander past from their verandah – enjoying both the tranquility and thrill of a safari without seeing any other visitors and open all year round.
